Presence of large companies in a region increases wealth of communities living in those places. However, in my opinion that society must analyse it from everyway when a big production plan is announced.
Sometimes, big factories may create air and water pollution in the region. For this reason, health of local people is impressed negatively. Therefore, increase in disease is inevitable in that area. On the other hand, new productive facilities open new job opportunities to most people. Thus, life standard of local community will improve. Because, they will consume goods and services more due to increased their purchasing power.
All companies pay taxes to the government. At the same time, some of them build schools, libraries or parks in that region. So, a large company is very important for countryman. It helps both people and the state to earn money. But, by the way it can give damage to the nature as well unfortunately. If nature gets harm, all living creatures are affected negatively from it. People’s quality of life can rise thanks to new job openings but may not be possible to say the same for their health.
As a result, large companies always have advantages. However, they also have their disadvantages as well. Both situations must be considered.
