Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express is a free version of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, a popular 3D CAD choice for product design leaders with short design cycles with the frequent need to create one-off designs. Its speed, flexibility and responsiveness to change make it the ideal tool for short series production runs.

(2) Windows 8.1 Update 1
PTC software products are tested on the latest operating system service pack available at the time of release. Because Creo Elements/Direct system requirements define a minimum operating system service pack, a newer Microsoft service pack should not affect Creo Elements/Direct products.
However, PTC cannot guarantee the correct functioning of Creo Elements/Direct products on newer operating system service packs. If Creo Elements/Direct products are incompatible with the newest service pack, PTC will attempt to remove the incompatibilities in the next service pack or major release of its products.
