Step 1: Download the French Language Pack
- Visit the Microsoft Download Center: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/language-packs-for-windows-a5094319-a92d-18de-5b53-1cfc697cfca8
- Locate the “Available language packs for Windows” section and click the “Download” button next to the French language pack.
- Choose the appropriate language pack version based on your Windows 11 system architecture: either “64-bit” or “32-bit”.
- Click the “Next” button.
- Select the “Save” option and specify a location to save the language pack file.
- Click the “Save” button again to initiate the download process.
Step 2: Install the French Language Pack
- Once the download completes, double-click the downloaded language pack file to launch the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation. The installation wizard will guide you through the process.
- Upon completion, the French language pack will be successfully installed on your Windows 11 system.
Step 3: Change the Display Language to French
- Open the Settings application on your Windows 11 computer.
- Navigate to the “Time & language” category.
- Click on the “Language & region” option.
- Under the “Preferred languages” section, select “Add a language”.
- Choose “French” from the list of available languages.
- Click the “Next” button.
- Select the option “Set as default display language”.
- Click the “Close” button to confirm the changes.
Windows 11 will now adopt French as the primary display language for your system.
