Creo Parametric 8 System Requirements | The CREO Parametric program is an element-based solid model program developed by PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation), which first introduced the parametric modeling technique, and is widely used for three-dimensional computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing and computer-aided engineering studies. The CREO program, which is an element-based computer-aided engineering program that has been developed since 1987, is generally used for solid modeling, assembly modeling, two-dimensional projection imaging, finite element analysis, direct and parametric modeling in engineering applications.

PTC software products are tested on the latest operating system service pack available at the time of release. Because Creo Elements/Direct system requirements define a minimum operating system service pack, a newer Microsoft service pack should not affect Creo Elements/Direct products.
However, PTC cannot guarantee the correct functioning of Creo Elements/Direct products on newer operating system service packs. If Creo Elements/Direct products are incompatible with the newest service pack, PTC will attempt to remove the incompatibilities in the next service pack or major release of its products.
